Here you will explore CAB, being described as a very nice little hotel with backpackers character and is only a stone throw away from the pubs, restaurants and town centre. We have en-suite doubles, self catering units, double rooms, family rooms and dorms. All the rooms walk out from a veranda onto the tranquil garden with hammocks and a quiet place to chill out. We supply you of fresh linen (goose down duvets and feather pillows) and towels. We do laundry too, so don’t worry about a dirty load in your backpack, we will sort that out for you in no time.

CAB has a vibrant bar and braai area where you can enjoy a traditional bbq and listen to fellow guests and their travels. Stefan the barman will entertain you with real overberg hospitality, a couple of jokes and lots of information that will make your stay worthwhile. Stefne our manageress who is also our in house aromatherapy massage therapist will make sure you have all the information you need and will see to it that you have an unforgettable stay here in our colorful home. We serve breakfasts and dinners on request. Vicky our in-house chef will tantalize your taste buds with her traditional meals. On Wednesdays and Saturdays we will make your experience much more colorful with a real traditional bbq (braai). You can also bring your own goodies and make use of our fully equipped kitchen for you hungry well traveled tummies.

We have internet and wifi, here at Cape Agulhas Backpackers you can take time to go through your travel photo’s and burn cd’s to make space on your camera for the best part of your trip, the Cape Agulhas Region. We have a mini travel desk with loads of info and here we still have time to inform you of all the activities and help you make plans for your travels ahead. We are chilled out and addictive to our surroundings, so be sure to be well informed before you start your adventure.

We have our own adventure centre at the harbour where you can go for sunset boat cruises, kayak excursions and various water sports. Head down to the harbour, look out for the signs of WAY DOWN AFRICA ADVENTURE CENTRE a sister company of Cape Agulhas Backpackers and book you fun and adventures for the day or a couple of days if you have the time. We will keep you busy……..we promiseJ Please ask us about the awesome beach horse rides….the best in africa, right on the beach. We offer customized tours in and around the area, so if your need some assistance on your tour we can organize a tour guide to assist you on your travels. If you are self driven take the scenic drive from Cape Town over the mountain via Caledon, Napier and Bredasdorp. Visit www.tourismcapeagulhas.co.za for great pics. If coming from Swellendam, take the BREDASDORP turn off. Follow the signs to the Most Southern Tip of Africa.

Take the road to Struisbaai. As you enter we are situated at the first stop street on the right hand side. For the Baz Bus travelers we offer a great package which includes a pick up, drop off plus accommodation and a fun packed tour. Please phone us for more info. We do the pick ups on Monday and the drop off’s on Wednesday, get some friends together to fill up the shuttle and have a blast of a time.
